The Medicine and Medical Device Alerts and Advisories Portal (the Portal) was established by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) for the sharing of medication and medical device alerts and advisories between State and Territory health authorities.
Each State or Territory authority which uploads information to the Portal is responsible for the content of that information.
The Commission is not responsible for the accuracy, currency or completeness of information accessed via the Portal, and does not review, validate or otherwise exercise quality control over Portal content. The Commission gives no warranty withrespect to the accuracy, currency or completeness of, and disclaims all liability for loss or damage arising out of use of or reliance on, information uploaded by a State or Territory to the Portal.
The Portal does not provide alerts and recalls related to therapeutic products, adverse event reports associated with medicines and medical devices and recall actions occurring in Australia for therapeutic goods. This information is provided by the Therapeutic Goods Administration at www.tga.gov.au/safety-information.
